The Oxford Biomedical Engineering Society (OBMES) is led by students, associated with The University of Oxford. OBMES strives to become a valuable platform where engineering students, academics, and health care companies work together to improve effectiveness, and openly share knowledge of their respective scientific fields, to find solutions to today's most challenging engineering problems.

OBMES aims to do this by facilitating interactions, to generate more interest for this emerging field, notably by promoting its innovations. We look forward to building associations with bodies from clinical, industrial and academic environment, to further knowledge of clinical and industrial needs, and to gain insight on research and career opportunities.
